Richmond school district shuts down in ransomware cyberattack
Classes were scheduled to resume Thursday, but an early-morning announcement on the district’s website said several servers were paralyzed by a ransomware virus, and that would take time to fix. Don’t expect to be able to call the district to get information: The phones were one of the systems that were hit.
